The great parables we will be studying from Matthew 13 take us behind the scenes of the progression of the “Seed” or the Word of God in our heart and also in the church as a whole. Jesus taught all 8 of these parables in a single day which show us their relationship one to another.
In these studies we will discover the meaning behind each element of the parable. Beside the fact that the mustard seed is so small, what other characteristic does the mustard exhibit that Jesus would choose this potent little seed.
What about leaven, is it a good thing or bad. What does leaven represent in both the Old and New Testaments and how do these representations affect the meaning of this parable?
These questions and more will be answered as we study the mysteries in the Parables of Matthew 13.
